In April 2024, after 63 years of operation, Stockade Cadets #2047 was told we were being shut down at the end of the 2023/24 year. The church was "moving in a different direction" and Stockade and Battalion as well as the leaders did not fit into that new direction.
An hour after informing parents of this decision we had offers from various local churches in order to continue this vital and successful ministry.
Stockade Cadets #2047 is now a ministry from St. Pauls Lutheran Church in West Falls, NY. Only 3 miles from our previous location.
Same group, same leaders but a new home!
